Highlights from SugarConnected North America

SugarConnected North America has come and gone, but the knowledge from such a great virtual conference is far from being left in the past!

Were you able to attend SugarConnected? Awesome!

Are you bummed that you missed it? No worries. If you want to check it out for yourself, SugarConnected North America presentations are here on demand for a limited time.

Below is also a summary of presentations from the event:

Introduction

“I use Sugar to run Sugar.” – Jason Rushforth, GM and SVP, Americas, SugarCRM.

Rushforth kicked off the virtual event by giving some insight into what was coming up, both at the event and at Sugar.

He shared how much he uses Sugar and all it’s features and facets and is excited about now further expanding into AI with the acquisition of Node.

The Next Frontier in Customer Experience

Craig Charlton, CEO, SugarCRM, started his presentation by announcing Sugar has landed in the Gartner Visionary Quadrant for the 8th year and also named the Mid Market Leader for G2 Crowd.

When looking into the next frontier of Customer Experience, a huge piece of that is being able to better predict. That’s what led Sugar to acquire Node.

Acquiring Node gives Sugar users the following benefits:

  • Beyond AI/ML: it helps organizations make better predictions and decisions that impact their bottom line.
  • Deliver accurate predictions with minimum CRM data – a force-multiplier with good data.
  • Access to an intelligent and capable team
  • Accelerates Sugar’s existing AI efforts

High-Definition CX: The Power of Fidelity

David Campbell, VP, Product Marketing, SugarCRM took a deep dive into high-definition customer experience (HD-CX).

The HD-CX engagement model has four basic principles:

  • It spans the 3 key CX business functions: sales, marketing, services
  • Provides a single, time-aware view
  • Integrates processes across departmental boundaries
  • Enables coordinated engagement and shared purpose

Deep Learning and Time: Your Unfair Advantage

This very informative session was presented by Rich Green, CTO and CPO, SugarCRM, who took a deep dive into the Sugar platform, detailing how all areas of Sugar work together. Check out his session if you to see how to best use your Sugar Sell, Market, Serve, Discover, Connect and AI!

Ignore Your Customers (and They’ll Go Away)

Micah Solomon, CX Expert and Best-Selling Author, knocked it out of the park with this presentation, detailing how important the customer experience really is.

He goes as far as to say that the customer experience is the new marketing. Why? Back in the Mad Men-era of advertising, if you launched a great campaign, your product sold.  But now, even the best marketing campaign will only go so far if it doesn’t match the experience of your prospect’s friends, family, and online contacts.

Customers have stopped believing what you say about your company. In fact, 93 percent of customers say they make decisions based in full or in part on word of mouth recommendations.

CMO Fireside Chat

Clare Dorrian, CMO, SugarCRM welcomed Michelle Accardi, President and Chief Revenue Officer, Star2Star to hear her story about needing a 360-degree view of Star2Star’s customers, especially this year with COVID-19.

Don’t forget. You can check out all these great sessions from SugarConnected North America here for a limited time. Have any questions about any Sugar capabilities? Contact us today for a free consultation.
